Cycle jackets

So, my brother got this super-cool cycle jacket for Xmas and ever since I saw it I wanted one too . I know the season is almost over, but they look so hot that I finally just couldn't resist and got some myself:

Which one is your favorite? The third one to the right was on back order, not sure I'll be able to get it. The other 2 I got.

Barcelona vs. Madrid

The top game of the week in the Spanish La Primera ended up in a draw yesterday. For a different perspective, you can check out what Reuters had to say:

La expulsión perjudicó tanto al Barça como al Madrid -Rijkaard

If you are language-impaired, you can read about it on ESPN

Ronaldo scored for Madrid and Ronaldinho for Barcelona.

French bureaucracy

A funny article about French bureaucracy, check it out:

Get a job? Sometimes it doesn't seem to pay
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/03/31/yourmoney/mcents01.php

"The same week that the bus didn't run, that the electrician turned up three hours late, that the wine deliverer didn't turn up at all, that the mailman didn't bother to check if anybody was home and left a notice in the box requiring a slog to the post office for, of all things, a tax bill - the same week that all this happened, the people who insure against a canceled plane trip invoked Clause 2.7, Page 9 of their contract to say, alas, that they were not actually liable for a canceled plane trip..."

Formula 1

And I noticed Fernando Alonso got his second victory of the season in the Australian Grand Prix. You can read about it in this International Herald Tribune article:

Formula One: Skillful Alonso wins thriller
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/04/02/sports/prix.php

A snippet:

"There is a fine line in motor racing between excitement and disaster, and while it came dangerously close to the latter on several occasions, the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday finished as a festival of action, skill and thrill - and a significant dose of embarrassment."

Here is Le Monde's article on the race, the French are always very interested because the Spaniard Alonso races for Renault (which is French of course):

Sunday

Not much going on today, nice out, got up late, I was up until late assembling the new A/V rack and rearranging the living room furniture. Will try to post some pics later. Talked to my parents a while ago.
