So, continuing to talk about decor, I need an a/v rack. It will hold the projector, along with all my other a/v equipment. Here are 2 designs that could work. The first one is from premium furniture manufacturer Lovan, and it's extremely sturdy (each shelf can support 200 lbs.) The second one is from Bush Furniture, it's not as sturdy, but it has adjustable shelves, which would be very useful to setup the projector at exactly the right height (which is 33.25 in.)

Anyway, comments appreciated.

I like the Bush...but just the way it is...it will fit your place nicely...deccor wise...it blends with your leather couches. The Bush is sexier as well... at least I think so...

Thanks all, that confirms what I thought. The Bush it is.

That sounds nice Nabanita, what are you using as a display device? A front projector, a rear projector, a DLP, an LCD, or a plasma?

We do already have a 61 inch DLP rear projection tv for upstairs. So I do not want to buy a rear projection tv anymore, for basement home theater we will be buying dlp front projector. I am painting the room also very dark to use a fron projector and screen.

Sounds good. There are some great deals right now on the Panasonic PT-AE900U. It's an excellent 720p projector, highly rated. I think you can get a $400 rebate, plus $300 in movie rentals. This offer just came out, it may take a few days before sites pick up on it.
