One of Laia's swim coaches from last year, Mr Albert Scott, was inducted into the Sachem Athletics Hall of Fame here near us on Long Island. Was a nice event very well attended. Laia and a I had a chance to stop by this morning and join in for the celebration. A lot of swimmers were in attendance, and other coaches and athletes were inducted as well, but coach Scott definitely had the largest crowd following and ovation. He has been coaching for over 50 years, and has coached several generations of athletes (parents AND their sons!)

Sofia was a performer last week with the Center Moriches Middle School chorus as they performed their traditional Christmas Concert in the beautifully renovated school auditorium.

She is a soprano, and her own brief solo!

And we got our first snow of the season. Pretty big snowfall on Sunday Dec 14, from 5 to 7 inches in our area. Here are some views of the backyard all snowed in
