Sachem Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony: Coach Albert Scott
One of Laia's swim coaches from last year, Mr Albert Scott, was inducted into the Sachem Athletics Hall of Fame here near us on Long Island. Was a nice event very well attended. Laia and a I had a chance to stop by this morning and join in for the celebration. A lot of swimmers were in attendance, and other coaches and athletes were inducted as well, but coach Scott definitely had the largest crowd following and ovation. He has been coaching for over 50 years, and has coached several generations of athletes (parents AND their sons!)
