This past weekend Laia attended the Iron Dragon Invite Swim Meet in Farmigdale, NY. It is a very nice pool, and she had a good time. Times keep getting better, and she improved on 5 of her 6 events. The most important part is to have fun with her friends!

Spectacular effect: it snowed overnight and Senix Creek is frozen because it's been so cold for so long - probably about 3 inches of ice - and so the snow fell and stayed on top of the creek, creating a very cool view this morning. Took this pictures while walking Crema this morning with Nicole:

Yes, another Laia! It's a fairly popular name in Catalonia. My friend Jordi (and his wife Mariangels) and their daughter Laia, who visited us a couple of years ago, received our Christmas card for 2025! Always good to get confirmation that overseas mail works! Very cool

PS: it's incredibly chilly and windy today with gusts of over 50 mph, argh

The second snow storm of the season happened last night, and this was me this morning clearing the driveway and walkway and mailbox path before it got colder and everything froze over!



Fun workout for sure

Wonderful morning, though I would have preferred to sleep in a bit longer! The girls promptly got me out of bed and could not wait to open all the presents left for them. What a joyful morning, followed by a beautiful breakfast and then a lot of relaxing. We are blessed, so lucky.
