Sharapova captured the US Open today. Looked pretty impressive. She has an imposing presence, at almost 6'3" and only 19.

Staying at home today, just got up from a mini-nap. Have some friends stopping by shortly. I think we'll order Chinese. Getting hungry.
Continental
Went to Continental Club last night, a classic. It's been playing live rock music for 15 years in NYC. Cool crowd.
Anyway, they are going to remodel the place this month and re-open Oct 11th. I liked Arckid's performance very much (ex-Spacehog,) they sounded awesome.
Roy Langdon, the lead singer and bass player, is married to Liv Tyler. Lucky dude 
US Open
Roger Federer, Mr. Perfect, just made it through to the finals of the US Open. Easy. He is the first man ever to reach the finals of 6 consecutive Grand Slam finals in the Open era. Just too good for everybody else.
Gotta watch Sharapova this evening

BTW, seems like nobody wears normal jeans anymore here in NYC. Everybody, in the streets, going to work, at work, in the clubs, everywhere, they just wear designer jeans. I swear every girl I saw this morning on my way to work was wearing Seven jeans. Every single one. Geez. Of course, that's what I was wearing too, but not the point.
