I am back from a work trip to Miami, everything went well, feels good to be back home.

Flight back was uneventful today. The one dinner I will remember was dinner at Juvia South Beach, spectacular views and amazing food.

Almost 2 weeks without posting, it's been a busy summer! Quick recap of recent events:

-We had our yearly Avengers company award with Brene Brown as a guest speaker, she was great
-We had the company's Summer Outing, this year at Camp Mohawk
-Nicole took the girls to see the Rockettes Summer Spectacular - they loved it, even Sofia
-We continue to got swim class every Sunday morning. New time is at 9 am! A little early for me, but it leaves the whole day open
-Last weekend we were invited to spend the day with friends at Crest Hollow Country Club in Long Island

One of the beaches we explored this summer: Point Pleasant. About a 2 hour drive from NYC. Best feature: a great boardwalk with lots of rides for the kids, fun. Worst features: very hard to find a parking spot unless you get there very early, and access to the beach costs $15 per person.

Today we spent the day at the Liberty Science Center with the girls, they had a lot of fun, cool place, we will be back.

Nicole and I went out tonight as well and saw the new Independence Day movie, it wasn't very good I thought. I remember the original fondly as it was the first movie I watched in the US, but the new one did not do it justice.
