Asia de Cuba, Domino's
Dinner with friends and clients at Asia de Cuba, very nice. Great food. Just got home. I suggested the place because it is just 2 blocks from my apartment, good deal.
I had a message from the manager at my local Domino's (the 3rd Ave location). I had left a mean customer service email via the corporate site letting them know I tried to order Sunday night and their lines were busy the entire time. When I tried to call another franchise store, they told me I had to use the one designated to my area - even after I told them the number did not work. So, this gentleman explained that Verizon cut several lines accidentally - we have construction going on throughout the city as they continue to upgrade their network to fiber - and their phones were done all day. They forwarded the number to a cell phone, but obviously it wasn't enough to service all the people who call. He was super nice and apologetic, and for that reason I will continue to be a customer (their pizzas are just OK, but they are super fast and are open late)
. Actually, I am not sure I have the energy to ship the item, but a couple people are willing to pay a couple $ for it. Who'd knew.
