Sofia performs at Carnegie Hall with her MYO choir

Wonderful family weekend in NYC. Sofia performed with her Metropolitan Youth Orchestra group at Carnegie Hall! Was so fun to see her. Lots do dining and shopping after. I think the girls had a lot of fun.

Small restock on Cava and other

We do not consume nearly as much cava as we did once upon a time, but it is always good to have a little on hand... new order arrived a couple of weeks ago.

The tulips on our backyard are back

Nicole llikes to plant tulips, and now other flowers, on a patch in our backyard. It's taken longer than usual this year to see them come out because the winter lasted so long, but sure enough, here they are and they look pretty. And are safe now that the groundhog that was eating them has been relocated!

A groundhob on our backyard

So, we had to hire someone to help us relocate a groundhog that was living in our property. While cute at first, once it started eating all of Nicole's tulips and made a giant hole under our shed, it was time to go. It was done pretty quickly and safely!

Sonos Ace

Been playing with a new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. They work "better" than traditional bluetooth headphones for late night TV watching because they receive the sound straight from my Act Ultra Bar. That means the sound is post processed from the HDMI input by the Arc Ultra, which creates a unique profile with spatial information for the Ace, and then sends it via WiFi. The quality is higher than the typical crummy stereo sound the TV sends directly to headphones.

We had a ton of Bose headphones which I still will continue to use. The Ace is pretty comfy for someone with a big melon like me... The switch works very well, but ONLY for TV sound, surprisingly you cannot do the same with music and you have to pair them as a regular bluetooth set. They look pretty in the cream white color. Battery life is outstanding at 30 plus hours.
