Testing the "craft ice clear ice spheres" on the new fridge. It can only make 3 per day if you want them to be "clear ice", very interesting and slow process. It can make 6 per day if you don't care about clear ice. They are a good size, suitable for specialty cocktails, very nice.
Our kitchen fridge gave up this week. I did not realize it was 14 years old, and finally the compressor stopped working. That is better than the JenAir we had in our apartment in NYC years ago that died up just 7 years. We currently have a Samsung that is still going strong.
A new LG was delivered this week to our house. It has nice modern styling, and nice interior lighting. The best feature is the craft ice capability: it makes 4 different types of ice, including clear spheres, very cool. It is model LRYXC2606S.
Some of my Revised cards got slightly wet on the top tip when I accidentally knocked a glass of water on my desk this week. Luckily they were in sleeves and I reacted quickly. Only 5-6 were affected. I dried them quickly and now I am pressing them down to avoid warping. Fingers crossed
A few pictures I found on my last trip to see my mom in April in Spain. Fun shots with my brother and other friends and family, in Igualada but also at the La Pineda beach apartment. So nostaltic.
And our pool is open and ready for the summer! Right before Memorial Day weekend, which is a bit early this year.
Looks nice! It's been warm the last couple of days but I believe it's going to turn cool again and rainy towards the weekend, so it may be a bit premature to jump in. My remote probe shows a water temperature of 56-58F, that is waaay too cold!
