Yes, yes, not a lot of postings lately. More soon. Denise and Jen visited this weekend, and we did tons of stuff. I may even post a pic or two, but I am still so behind.
The desk/sleeper bed device has been assembled, and appears to work properly. A few issues with pieces here and there, but in general fine.
Temperature is very nice, 72F right now. I'd better get something to eat for dinner.
So, the new season of Gilmore Girls is underway, and it's started very sad. Poor Luke and Lorelai 
, hope it gets better. Nice wonderful weather, but it's supposed to get cooler as we approach the weekend. Have friends visit, should be fun. I'm trying to put together this new desk/sleeper bed before they get here, otherwise they may have to sleep on the floor 
. So many pieces...
I can't type much, my fingers hurt a little, too much typing at work.

Took delivery of the new desk/sleeper bed this afternoon, and gave away my trusty futon (which had travel a great deal with me, and served as a guest bed for many many people over the years.)
Problem is that the desk/bed came in a thousand pieces and has to be assembled. Started tonight. Took me about 2 hours to put together the desk itself. Will continue tomorrow evening. Next is the file cabinet with drawers. Then the bed frame (hope it doesn't take 2 people to put that part together.)
Looks like we are going to enjoy very good weather for a couple more days, at least.
Better go to bed, it's getting late.
A new week. Quieter than usual day at work because of the Jewish holiday, lots of people stayed home.
Attended a PR event for JW at Skylight Studios downtown. Baseball Hall-of-Famer Wayne Boggs was there and talked to audience for a while, and Q&A for a while, he's a cool dude. Cocktails and food. Very good cheeses. Various other VIPs in attendance. It was fine, but I got home kinda late and have to get up early tomorrow. In the afternoon I am supposed to take delivery of the new pull-down bed, we'll see.
