Today was my Saint day, so I got an email from my parents and brother congratulating me . It's celebrated in Spain.

Two interesting pieces of info today:

(1) According to rumors, the new MS Zune MP3 player is not compatible with Windows Vista - ouch! I am sure it will be compatible with the final consumer version, but apparently it is not with the betas. Not sure about the RTM version.

(2) Newscorp says it could sell MySpace for 6 billion now. Not bad, a 10x gain in a few months (from the $580M they paid for it.)

BTW, another thing that does not make sense: if you play with Gmail, .doc attachments cannot be open via Google Docs (formerly Writely) - only with Word - bad. Same thing happens with Adsense, the reports are .XLS that cannot be open with Google Spreadsheets, only Excel. Google seems to be rushing too much to release new products (they have up to 50 active projects now) and not paying attention to important details.

Back home, long day, but I expected it after 2 days out. So, I went to pay my Bank of America credit card statement for this month (ex-MBNA) and I had another big disappointment. Their Pay Now links don't work at all. I decided to call into Customer Service, and a nice gentleman informed me I had to go to a new site called myeasypayment.com to pay via an online check. When I asked how I was supposed to know that, he said I would know if the bank had informed its customers, but it did not, so the only way to find out what to do was to call in. Crazy. What an extremely poorly handled transition after their purchase of MBNA.
