Mayor Bloomberg was at our offices today, it was cool. He had a press conference to talk about the upcoming center for the applied sciences that will be built in new your city. 7 different consortiums of universities bid for it. NYC will provide land and $100 million, and the schools have to raise the rest of money, estimated in the several hundreds of millions. this center is estimated to create thousands of jobs, and tons of economic activity, particularly technology based activity, around NY.

the mayor has develop a habit to visit NY companies, and used them to host his press conferences vs. doing it all downtown. i think it's a great idea, and was fun watching him live today.

first snow of the season, can't believe it. it's been snowing all day, and some of it is starting to stick. it's super cold too, in the 30s, total winter weather, boooh.

got home not along ago from work (!), and i'm going in again tomorrow.

the weather suddenly got cold, it is like 40 F right now outside, we have the heat on for the first time this year.


have to work this weekend, ugh, not looking forward to it.
