A tour of the city yesterday all day, showing Nicole La Sagrada Famila, el Parc Guell, downtown, Placa Catalunya, Les Rambles, the Cathedral, and also Santa Maria del Mar i el Passeig del Born, all great spots. Had dinner with Juanito, Ana, and Pep in a little restaurant in Gracia, and got back home around 1 am. We will soon be headed out again today.

The weather has been pretty awful the whole time, it just won't stop raining and I think it is supposed to continue all the way until we leave, crazy. Oh well, it's still fine, temperatures have been around 52 F even with the rain.

And we got to Barcelona. Landed around 7:30 am, trip was perfect. We got upgraded to First Class, so our seats were awesome, champagne, good food and even some rest. I watched "Got Smart", pretty bad movie. I also watched most of Fred Clauss, pretty bad as well.

My parents picked us up, drove home. We took a little nap, had late lunch.

I am back from Atlantic City. Trip was good. Stayed at the Borgata, it was quite productive.

Have a busy day tomorrow: have to pack up, meet with the kitchen contractor, get a haircut, go to the bank, and run many other errands. We have the flight in the early evening, so we have to head to JFK by noon or so. Lines will be crazy as usual, eek.

Discovered a pretty cool service this weekend: MaxDelivery, they deliver groceries, drugstore essentials and a few other things to any address below 34th St in Manhattan within an hour. And there is no delivery charge if your order is over $75, otherwise they charge a reasonable $2.95, plus there is no need to tip. Pretty good stuff. I tested it out, and sure enough, they showed up at my apartment door within about 20 minutes, amazing.

Continues to be super-cold, temperature around 22 F right now. Tomorrow will suck, the forecast is a high of 23 F (!) and a low of 16 F, yuck.

BTW, this weekend I've noticed more than ever Amazon's constant game with pricing. I was looking a an item that was $20 (every other vendor sold it for $40), added it to my cart, removed it, looked at others, came back, and sure enough the price had changed to $40 (doubled) within minutes. Same thing happened again looking at an end table, it was $36 and after looking at others for a few minutes and coming back it had changed to $54. I had noticed this before, and I think the site says prices get updated once per hour, but it seems to be getting a little out of had, makes you feel the pricing presented is unreliable because it could change any minute.
