Pumpkin Picking - Happy Day Farm, NJ

October is almost over and we are still enjoying reasonably mild weather. I usually correlate my birthday with having to wear a big jacket because it's cold, but with the exception of a few sporadic days the cold is not yet here. We enjoyed a great weekend with tons of activities for both the adults and the kids. We took Laia to her Spanish school class on Saturday, picked her up and played games and listened to music together. In the evening we had dinner with friends at The Top of The Standard, a spectacular roof top on top of the Standard Hotel in NYC.

On Sunday we rented a car, took both girls to swim class, and then headed out to Merrick in Long Island to a Halloween event at Laia's summer camp. We stopped by Longhorn in Queens on the way back, of course . We got home late, gave the girls and bath and put them to bed.
