last night - saturday - we met with friends for dinner at adour, alain ducasse's restaurant at the st. regis hotel. it was a very nice experience, the place has 1 michelin star, and is generally considered under-rated and deserving of 2. the food was fabulous, although the service was just OK.
before dinner we stopped by the famed King Cole Bar, a NY classic, also in the st. regis.
it's sunday afternoon already, time goes by so fast. we are planning to meet bobby and judit for coffee in a bit, they are in town for a wedding and will stop by to say hi on their way back to boston. the weather looks la little nicer today, at least we hit the 50s. not great, but an improvement.
tons of eventful things in sports: india won the ICC cricket world cup, barca won (barely) their game in la liga, while madrid lost to sporting, which creates an 8 point distance between the 2 teams, making it much more likely barca will win the championship. the final of the college basketball championship is also set, butler will pay uconn. lastly, we have champions league games this tue and wed.

And it's the end of the work week. Meet up with an old colleague and friend for breakfast today, David Germano, great guy. Gave him a tour of our offices and we chatted for a while, good stuff. Lives in Cincinnati and he works on the agency side managing the P&G property Man of the House.
Rainy all day, but not too cold. I am hoping the weather improves over the next few days.
Sounds like Bobby and Judit are in town for a wedding or something. We are not sure whether we will be able to meet up, we will try on Sunday.
