Running out of storage space on my shared media drive. It is only a 1.5 Tb, so surely there were other easier ways to upgrade it but i decided to take the plunge and go with a semi-pro solution:
1x TowerRAID TR5UT-BP - 5 Bay USB 3.0 / eSATA Hardware RAID 5 Tower
5x Western Digital 2 Tb Drives w/64 Mb cache
Running it in RAID-5 mode this should give me a single 8 Tb volume.
sunny sunday, back home! good trip to the boston office, it was nice seeing people. we had dinner/drinks at Alibi in the evening. stayed at the airport hilton, and took an early flight this morning. it was hard getting up so early 2 days in a row, i am pretty tired. trying to rest.
hectic week, barely time for anything. dinner at The Smith today, got home. have to get ready for tomorrow's trip to Boston. leaving at 7 am, ugh.
