Just got back from Martha's Vineyard, need to unpack. Looks like Federed won the US Open, as expected. Great trip, food, sights, sea, art, seals, friends. Forgot my camera, but took a few pics on my phone, will post them when I get the chance. Looks like iTunes finally finished processing my library, took a long, long time.

Pretty hectic day at work, just getting home now. Tried to pack a lot of stuff into one day before heading off to the offsite meeting. We are leaving first thing in the morning. Still have to pack up. Gotta get to eat something first, while watching some great tennis. Justine vs. Serena is on right now, and then Nadal. Good stuff.
Today I upgraded my DVD-RW DRU-810A firmware from version 1.1e to 1.1f. I noticed the manufacturer released the new version in April. As it turns out, among other stability and speed improvements, they have fixed a very specific issue with Memorex DL media, which is great for me. I have a pile of Memorex dual layer DVDs, and could not use them to their full capacity for either media or data because the burning process failed every time during the layer change. I just tested a disk, and for the first time ever I was able to fill it with data to its max capacity 
I hadn't been to my good friend Aaron's site in a while. I took a look, he always has very interesting postings that intrigue me. Have not had a chance to talk to him in a while, but judging from his Flickr photo stream, Aaron, his wife and their son Nate are doing great.
