weekend almost over. kind of a long one for both nicole and i as we had to go to the office. the week ahead will also be challenging, but also some excitement lies ahead: we have tickets to Rihanna's MSG concert on thursday, should be cool!

i stumbled across this article about a 1848 Cincinnati waterfront daguerreotype. the panorama was captured in super hi res and could be blown up to 170 by 20 feet without losing clarity, apparently. to reach that level of precision a digital camera version would have to record a staggering 140,000 megapixels per shot. the total stitched-together panorama contains nearly 9-billion pixels. wow.
