Landed in SF a bit ago. Grabbed some quick food and now checked into the hotel. Staying at the St Regis near where the conference center. I think it is a quick walk from the hotel. Probably should get some sleep, it is late here and we have to be up by 7 am or sooner tomorrow.

just had dinner, great spaghetti and chicken with my white peach tea . traded messages w/ bobby today, hopefully we will get to see him and judit soon. will watch an episode of 24 before i pack up for tomorrow's trip.

went out and had dinner at Smorgas Cheft West Village last night, the meatballs were excellent , and so was the salmon. we walked back home, it was so nice and pleasant out. the restaurant is located on 12th st and 4th West, so an easy stroll. tons of people out with the good weather and all.

we didn't hear anything about the times square scare until this morning. hopefully nothing happened.

i was playing with my ipad last night and discovered this amazing little app called air video. it lets you stream video to your iphone/ipod touch/ipad. it comes with a server piece that you install (java-based) and then it streams it and even can convert it on the fly (you need a fairly powerful core 2 duo or better machine). this means i could technically stream my entire video collection to my mobile devices, very cool. it can do it over the internet as well, but you need to configure the router for port forwarding as appropriate. i think it will work but haven't had time to set it up. for now i am amazed at how well it works on the local wireless lan.

Super sunny and warm out, took a walk with Bogie and it's 85 F outside, summer-like temperature. Picked up quick lunch at McDonalds on 6th ave . Nicole is out at the hair dressers. Her new Hunter rain boots arrived this week, they are nice.
