My brother Bernat and his wife Alicia just got to my place this evening, very cool. We have been chatting, and they are going to bed now to get some rest. They have a long day ahead tomorrow, lots of sightseeing to do 
Very busy day at home today, we got our Xmas tree up, looks great, I will post pictures soon. We also did some closet cleanup, moving things to the basement storage unit, etc. Now doing laundry, a little later than usual. Laia behaved all day.
My parents are coming tomorrow! That will be fun, they have never been in NYC over the holidays. My brother Bernat and his wife Alicia are coming as well, so that will be great.
Watched Oliver Stone's Savages yesterday. Didn't think it was particularly good. A violent and even somewhat predictable plot with characters that don't have enough in them to be liked or hated. Even the twist at the end isn't that good. Del Toro probably the best in it, and Travolta the worst. Lively boring. Thumbs down.
Very productive weekend so far. We attended a baptism preparation class this morning which went fine, then headed to the Union Square Market to pick up our Xmas tree. Nicole had been there already first thing this morning to make sure we got a great one, and reserved it. We brought it into the apartment with help from my friend Hans, and put it up on the stand. After a few tries we got it up stable and standing straight Looks really good, will take pictures once it has all the ornaments on it!
