Sat II
Downloading the Android SDK to check it out a bit. Pretty funny "I just woke up" look from Sergey in the video. Cool concept, could really level the field. I am sure the carriers strongly dislike it. The exert full control today with their clossed platforms, particularly Verizon. They fully decide which apps as "on deck" and which are not, controlling distribution and creating deals. This would in theory completely eliminate that.
In other news, Spain beat Sweeden a bit ago, and has qualified for the European Football Cup which will be played next June.
Finally finished backing up the MP3 hard drive my brother had given me, took forever.
Today is my niece Elisabet's Saint day 
. It was my own Saint day on Thursday.
Have to run a couple errands, stop by Duane Read.
Sat Nov
Dinner at Bocca Restaurant with a friend last night, it was qutie good. Went to a party at Room Service after that, stayed there until late. Must have been 4 by the time I got home. Consequently I got up relatively late today.
Txtd w/ Nate some, he is planning on being in NY in Dec. Got a phone pic from a friend who is at the beach in Hawaii, very cool. Reading the paper now.

The weekend is almost here. Got chilly again today, we only had a short break yesterday. Had dinner w a friend at Primehouse on Park Ave. Pretty nice place, good service. I like their decor. Big bar upfront. We didn't stay up too late, have to get up early tomorrow.
Heard from Bill. Txt'd with F briefly tonight. Heard from Pep, he took his family up on the Empire State Building today.
