Sun night late
Looks like my hosting provider has had a bit of trouble today, the site might have been slow at times during the day, not sure to which extent just yet. Anyway, seems fine now. Caught up on some Smallville, still only mildly interesting at best. But Lana is as stunning as usual. Caught a logout error at the Bank of America's site, below. Going to bed soon, getting pretty late. Planning on having dinner with Jeff and Robin again tomorrow night.

Quick catch
Quick catch up: Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense was run down in the final strides of Saturday's Preakness Stakes by Curlin, ending his quest for a Triple Crown. Too bad, it was a good story. But I am sure we'll hear again from Street Sense, it only lost at the very last second, it was so close. Nadal lost to Federer in the final of the Hamburg tournament. That gives Federer a psycological edge for Roland Garros.
Met Jeff and Dunn Robin for dinner and drinks last night, good friends from Cinci, known them for a long long time. Went to a little restaurant in the Greenwich Village, fun.
Nice day, perfect temperature, hope it doesn't rain again. Talked to my parents. And Bill for a bit. Talked to Jose yesterday, the university has confirmed they will have an apartment available for him, good. Maui Tacos for lunch, with extra sour cream, so good

Preakness Stakes
Round 2 of horse racing today, the Preakness Stakes. Let's see what Street Sense can do.

I had posted about these guys, MP3 site, super-cheap, operates out of Russia, has been around for quite some time, no DRM. The RIAA filed a huge (over a trillion dollars) lawsuit against them in NY a few months ago. It went down briefly, but ultimately came back up, so I guess it didn't quite work. At least yet. Haha.
Here's what AllofMP3.com responded with at time (essential saying, screw you):
“AllofMP3 understands that several U.S. record label companies filed a lawsuit against Media Services in New York,” an unnamed “senior company official” stated. “This suit is unjustified as AllofMP3 does not operate in New York. Certainly the labels are free to file any suit they wish, despite knowing full well that AllofMP3 operates legally in Russia. In the mean time, AllofMP3 plans to continue to operate legally and comply with all Russian laws.”
