quite a bit cooking up these past couple of weeks: on top of the ipad, apple revealed their iAd mobile advertising platform (thus the recent purchase of Quattro Wireless).

then twitter announcing their Promoted Tweets, and apple letting opera onto the iphone - i didn't think they would let that happen, but it's good. they must think it's no competition for the built-in safari browser.

on top of that microsoft released new phones aimed at the younger social crowd (whom according to recent stats can't go for more than 2 hours without checking their facebook account)

lots of tech rolling out

ready for a fuet and serrano ham sandwich nicole is making on the panini maker . 50 F and clear in NYC. my movie collection is starting to fill the networked storage, closing in on 1 Tb now. I still have about another 500 Gb or so left, but will have to start think about expansion. I think I can up capacity by another 2 Tb more. After that, would need other solutions. BTW, I read 2.5 Tb drives are around the corner, that's cool.

got home a bit ago. have to go through my mail and bills, since i wasn't able to be home all weekend. also have to read the news. a little cooler this evening, but still quite nice compared to last year. saw an R5 copy of The Bounty Hunter floating around. i was thinking, this site has been around for like 5+ years, that's crazy. i know because i just had to renew my hosting agreement and pay the yearly hosting fees.

in any event, time to eat something, play with my ipad, and read the paper before i go to bed.

quick dinner at home, then going to bed. super saturday recruitment event at work tomorrow. watching CSI : NY. big soccer game tomorrow, barca vs. madrid. will try to record it and watch in when i get home at night.

weather got cooler again today, definitely need a jacket again outside.

apple announced the iphone will have multitasking with OS 4.0, about time.
