Tue

And 2 days down. Fairly nice and pleasant out. Talked to Bill on the phone for a while, we hadn't caught up in some time, all good. He is taking a trip to Florida for a few days. I guess I am going to fix somethin' to eat soon, getting hungry.

Mon

Back home, one day down under the new circumstances . Walked Bogie both morning and night. Took a cab and to and from work. Nicole is doing fine, just a little awkward to get around with the heavy cast. It will get better.

More pics

Continuing to catch up, I finally processed and posted pics from January's trip to Spain with Nicole. Great sightseeing, much despite the weather, which wasn't very helpful the whole time we were there.

Rowayton trip and a small accident

The holiday weekend is almost over. We took a very nice trip to Rowayton over the weekend, that's the town where Ingrid and Edward recently moved to. Their house is super nice, very airy and spacious, and nicely decorated (for the most part ). Edward's brother and his wife, and Vanessa joined in as well. From the back yard we were able to see the fireworks, and the weather was perfect. We also grilled out, yummy burgers and salmon. Unfortunately Nicole took a bad step while dancing inside the house - which has speakers in every room and it's all wired up - and broke her foot (!). I know it sounds crazy, it was really bad luck, she broke the 4th and 5th metatarsia on her right foot. We took a car back home this morning, and spent most of the day in the ER. She got a temporary cast until she can see a specialist in about a week. It will be a bit of a challenge getting around the next 6 to 8 weeks, but we will be fine!

4th of July

Left my parents at the airport, and now back home.

Getting ready to head out, taking the train at Grand Central, barbq should be fun. Talking about food, I finally got around to posting the Top Chef contest pics from a while back, long overdue. Gail Simmons visited us, it was cool. Hans and I were judges with her.
