A cold Saturday
Wow, coldest day of the winter so far. I was in Washington Square park earlier and it was about 10 F, chilling. They said wind chill in the negative teens last night (like -16 C or colder). We stoppped by Barna, a bar on Park Avenue for a drink with a few colleagues from work, in was fun.
Got up realitvely early this morning, we had a few errands to run. Been messing a bit on Facebook now, I created a group for my great school, hehe, and also join my high school's group. Seems a little unruly because it's not organized by graduation years, etc.,

Fri
Been meaning to call Bill, got a txt from him today, see if we can catch up this weekend. It is ridiculously cold right now, we had dinner at The Smith and we took a bus back because you just can't be on the streets. My computer says it's 12 F (-11 C) outside right now.
Yay, tomorrow is Friday, cool. And we have a 3-day weekend ahead, will be good to rest!
Wed/Thu
Jesus can't seem to get his repaired iPhone to work, hardware connections issues, that's too bad. Wow, saw Steve Jobs is stepping down from Apple, looking pretty gloomy. And the market crashed again today, geez.
I applied the latest BIOS to my K45, dated Novermber, and Vista stopped booting up, unacceptable from both Shuttle and Microsoft. Even the repair disk told me it could not fix it. After a few attempts and going into safe mode, opening the case, re-setting the memory and fumbling with the BIOS settings I got to miracurously come back again, but I am not even sure which one of the factors did it. Or that it will stay up, bah.
Anyway, getting kinda late, should go to bed.

Harri
Today I got an email from Harri, an old friend from Finland whom I hadn't talked to in a while. He and Birgit, and their 2 kids, are doing great. Here is one the pics he sent. I would cool to meet up at some point this year, either going there or they can come visit for a few days. Let's see if we can plan it out.
The weather improved slightly tonight, and by that I mean it amazingly made it above 0 C for the first time in many days. Feels like spring, it's 3 C .
Watched the season premiere of Amerinca Idol today. A couple interesting characters, but it is the very beginning.
Gonna go to bed shortly I think.
