Nice

Super nice out, Nicole just got home with stuff from Whole Foods, we will eat something and probably head out for a while. BTW, talked to my parents a little earlier.

blackberry issues

Some mechanical issues with my blackberry last night. The wheel used to navigate wasn't working in one direction. I removed it and cleaned it, over a year's worth of dust had accumulated. Once clean, works like a charm again, but in the process of pulling it out and then pushing it back in, the outer ring (which is made of cheap plastic) kind of broke (the clippers did), so it doesn't stay on anymore. I looked at replacements, they are like $10 + shipping. I will see if I can get it to stay in with some glue, otherwise I will have to order a replacement.

Sci Am

Went into Midtown Comics for a while earlier, just to check out the store. Around 39th and 7th Ave. Tons of science fiction books, comics, trading cards, etc. Talked to Pep for a while as well, we got caught up, sounds like he is lining up a trip to the US for next March. Qualifying games for the 2010 World Cup today, Spain playing Estonia right now, watching it live on TV, Spain wins 2-0 so far.

Columbus Day weekend

Started the weekend early this year, taking today Friday off! We got up and headed to the Port Authority and took a bus to NJ. We had time to do a ton of stuff, including a most excellent visit to Microcenter, plus dinner at Longhorn - where Nicole had the wait staff come and sing me happy bday, so embarrassing . All in all, very fun. Just got home, super tired. Will probably go to bed soon. Really nice weather out, very warm for this time of the year.

Also, they are scraping and repainting the balconies in my building. Had to move in some stuff this morning and leave it empty so they could work on it. May take a couple days before they are done.
