Gone Baby Gone
Went to watch a movie with Pep tonight, we saw Gone Baby Gone. Very good, recommended. Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Morgan Freeman, and Ed Harris do a very good job.

Digital Cameras
I noticed the newer generations of cameras have dropped the optical viewfinder to become more compact. I bet it is cheaper as well, and that is the main reason for the manufacturers. It is a shame, I use my optical viewfinder all the time. The reason is because it saves a ton of battery. I rarely ever have the screen on, which is what sucks up most power. Only leave it on for a couple seconds after taking the pic, to preview it. In fact, as long as you do not release the button, the image stays on for as long as you want, so you are in control.
The other observation I have is that all phone cameras in general suck. They are just terrible. Even if they come with a flash. After taking pics from the phone these past few months, whenever I go back to real digital camera, the quality seems amazing. I hope phones catch up soon, it's only a matter of time.
Sun
Another amazingly nice day, warm and sunny. Feels like spring and not Fall. We were in the mid 70s or higher all day long. Went out to take a walk, run a few errands.
Sports. In a surprising turn of events, neither Alonso nor Hamilton won the Formula 1 World Championship. The Finnisih Kimi Raikkonen won instead - my friend Harri must be happy 
. It all came down to the final race of the championship, the GP of Brazil, which I think takes place in Sao Paolo. Despite starting second on the grill, Hamilton had a number of problems throughout the race and failed to deliver. Alonso finished behind Raikkonen, who got just enough points to go from #3 in the overall ranking to #1 and win the World Championship with a Ferrari.
The Socks play the seventh game today with the Indians. Not much of a baseball fan, but I know in any sport it doesn't get much better than this. All down to what happens today. May even watch a little .
Last night I went out for a bit with a group of people from work. Tons of fun. We started partying by 10:30, so by 1 I was tired. Plus, I didn't get any sleep on Friday night, preparing for the events Saturday.
Saw Pep for a while this afternoon. I have to call Toni, who is in Vancouver, when I get the chance.
Talked to my parents, who are in Mallorca hanging out, must be nice

Hectic day - just stopping by home for a few minutes to head out for a few drinks with people from work. Meeting at Butterfield8.
Listening to this sound from Soraya my brother sent me. A cover. Of course very catch, it's called La dolce vita.
Totally unrelated, the Empire State is lit in violet today, no idea why. Never seen it that color, looks very cool.
Been playing phone tag w/ Monika, she is still traveling overseas.
