It's Mother's Day in the US today, Happy 1st Mother's Day to Nicole!! We went to Wycoff today and spent the day at her friend Sarah's. We hit a bit of traffic on the way back, but we are finally home. All good.

Great day meeting Nicole's dad and stepmom. We went to lunch at Longhorn - my favorite place . Had a nice time, then headed back to the house. On the way back we caught big time rain, pouring, for about 30 minutes. Stop after that. Flash flood warning and stuff, but we had no issues. We spent a bit of time playing at the house then headed back home. We just put Laia in bed, and returned the zipcar.

Tomorrow we go back to NJ again, we have to stop by the cemetery, then meet Sarah for brunch. We will be picking up another zipcar and driving. I think it's supposed to be a nice day. It was nice today too, aside from the rain. The temperature is super mild.

BTW, Battlestar Galactica, which I have been watching (a sci-fi show from a few years ago) just got a lot more interesting with the arrival of the battle star Pegasus.

Fun weekend walk through Union Square with Laia, played on the swing set and had strawberries and cream when we got home
