he has discovered twitter and is going crazy again, too funny. in this example he charges against google.

Meeting a friend at a restaurant called sNice this afternoon to catch up. I was looking up the location of the place, it's on the West Village, near the corner of 8th ave. and 14th street. Ordinarily it's just a nice walk, but it sure is chilly today, it's supposed to get to 19F, brrr. Anyway, the first review of the place was the one I included below, thought was kind of amusing.

Quite a busy bee running errands this morning, stopped by the Time Warner offices on 14th and 5th Ave to return my second cable box, I am now fully transferred to the TiVo unit running on a cable card. Also stopped by Home Depot (and had to go back twice) to pick up a lock for our new basement storage unit.

work week 2 of the year quickly coming to an end, it's amazing how time flies, almost 5% of the new year is already consumed.

we scored a storage unit in our basement, which is cool. of course it's paying, but the rates are more or less reasonable (for manhattan anyway). not sure what we will move down, for now I just ordered a lock for it it's only like a small closet, 4x4x7 feet.

in tech news, google is getting into a little bit of trouble because of their decision to prioritize their social media over others, and give google+ results prominence in their search index. twitter is not happy about that. sounds like microsoft all over again, when they abused their position to push Internet Explorer, ha. smells more and like a anti-trust for the big G.

What a nice surprise when I got home today, I had a package from my brother and Alicia waiting for me with the January issue of Fotogramas, which includes the cool New Year calendar, same as every year. Fotogramas was founded in 1946 (!) in Spain, as to this date it's the top movie magazine in the country.
