Saturday mid May
As you can gather from my Twitter feed, we went to Kooza (Cirque du Soleil) last night, on Randall's Island. Took a cab to the water taxi on the East side of 34th Street after work, and from them the water taxi took us to the island. The show was super cool, I enjoyed the most the contortionists and then 2 dudes dressed like devils that operated a huge crazy 2 artifact in the shape of a loop with the wheels that could spin on both ends. We took the water taxi and a cab back home, got to the apartment around 12:30 am.
I slept in this morning, got up around noon. Helped Nicole go get a case of dog food for Bogie. She is off to Whole Foods. I need to organize things around the apartment, still a few things left to assemble and clean up after the move last week.
Heard from my good friend Eusebi, they are expecting a second baby! Not sure if time will allow, but let's see if we can meet up next weekend while I am in Spain.
In sports, a good chance for Barcelona to win La Liga tomorrow. They already won the Cup earlier this week, awesome. I think Nadal is playing Djokovic right now, but I don't have enough ambition to search through the million channels we get and find the game. For these live events, the guide is typically not updated so you have to browse all channels very intently to try and find it!

I think I am going to change the twitter feed to the text version, seems like the Flash one I have now takes a couple seconds to initialize and load. Then again, it could just be their service, they are down half the time, can't cope with the traffic. At least worth trying though, see if it's faster.
Mild but not warm. Have the tix to Spain booked, will spend Memorial Day weekend in Barcelona, woohoo .
Tomorrow is Friday, awesome. Not going to stay up much longer tonight. I hooked up the TV and stuff, but realized I need an HDMI splitter so I can feed the projector as well. Will take a look at monoprice shortly.

Tue
Weather continues to fluctuate up and down, cool again yesterday and most of today, the the low 50's. Can't wait for consistently warm weather. Tue at work that felt a little like Monday. Monday - yesterday - was awesome, though, we got the whole afternoon off and tickets to go see the new Star Trek movie, plus get popcorn and soda . I quite liked the movie, well self-contained and entertaining throughout.
Got home a few min ago. Need to eat something, but not much, I am not really hungry. Then have to see if I can find a reasonable ticket to go to Spain for Memorial Day weekend with Nicole...
Also, my replacement TV arrived today - the unit they sent last week was defective. I call Sunday and a new one shows on on Tue, not bad. Interaction with Dell's customer service so far have been very good. When they realized it was a hardware failure (unit was DOA) they quickly expedited shipping of a new one. Only thing left now is get the bad one over to them. I was supposed to get an air bill in the box when the new one arrived, but I don't see any, so I will have to contact them again.
The super helped us get rid of my black leather couches today. A bit of a shame, since they were still quite useful, but they were indeed very old and Nicole didn't like them at all . Anyway, they are gone. Much more room in the living room all of a sudden. Still have some work to do to organize all the furniture. The apartment is almost livable by now, it's take a while to sort everything out.
