Sunday evening, another weekend almost over. We are half way through December already. Ikea delivery on Thu, we have a bunch of cabinets for the kitchen, plus the range, hood and dishwasher. Still expecting the friend - may not come till Jan - and a few more cabinets. We have to first get permission from the building management for the renovation. It may be a tedious process, but we have time.

Stopped by the Chelsea Home Depot today, around 6:30 pm, and surprisingly it was closed. They close at 7, so it wasn't supposed to be. About a dozen people gathered at the door while I was there wondering what was going on. Bad of them to close early on such a busy weekend, and not give any warnings (no signs on the door or anything).

Went into Best Buy for a few minutes to get a USB G wireless card. I am thinking on setting up my desktop in the guest bedroom for now, and I would need a card for that (the hot spot is in the living room). Got a cheapo Dynes enhanced G card, and used a $20 gift card Nicole had, so it was pretty cheap.

Can't find my digital camera, so no pics yet. Maybe later this week when I have a few minutes to look for it.

I missed Pep's call, we must have been at church, and then in the afternoon I ran to my other place on 35th to move computer equipment. I grabbed as much as I could fit into a big plastic bin, plus a bag, and carried it in a cab. Between that and the trips to run errands, it was 8 pm. We wanted to go to the movies, but it was too late, they all started around either 7:30 or 10.

Cozy at home, comfy on the couch. Watched the Barca-Madrid game that just finished a few min ago, Barca won 2-0, yay! Heat on, it's 30 F outside, very chilly. Hadn't been out all day. Got up late, around 3:30 pm.

Been an extra-busy week at work, worked overnight on Wed, stayed home on Thu till the evening. Then we had the company party on Friday, fun. Started with a pre-party at the Hotel Rivington downtown, very cool. Then we headed to Room Service, a Chelsea nightlife hotspot that we had rented out all night and was closed to the public. Great time. We headed home pretty late and walked home - it was on 21st st, so a quick walk back.

Sore throat, the weather hasn't been very nice this year, the cold came early and it's been Feb weather for a few weeks now, eek.

Been trading emails w/ Jesus, to arrange for a dinner while I am in Spain, also all set for the 30th. I also receive an iphone screen that he bought and sent to my address, so I can take it back for him. His iphone's screen had broken. Also got a call from Pep today, but since I didn't get up until late I couldn't call him back, maybe tomorrow.

Yes, yes, I've been kind of slow with new entries lately, just haven't had much time. Not to mention my regular desktop at home is still at my old place, along with 90% of my computer equipment. I've been using my DELL laptop, which is fine for now.

Heard from both Pep and Jordi today. Pep was in Jorba meeting a friend from his science fiction club, and Jordi sounds like he is doing well at work and soon will be a brand manager. He is also into game design and has met with a bunch of game people lately, he may design his own game.

It's bitterly cold out today. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the wind, it's very chilly. Yesterday we went to Ikea and bought some furniture for the old apartment, that way we won't have to rent it for next few months, and we can use it in the new apartment when we get done. We got a sectional and a few chairs. Everything was delivered today.

We also ordered a few more cabinets for the kitchen, but I am not sure how that's going to work out just yet. Looks like the paperwork is complicated, you have to get all sorts of permits. Will figure it out this week.

Finally ordered it, BTW. Ended up getting a Jennair, good stuff
