Received the custom JAE IDE adapter for my K45, shipped all the way from Hong Kong. Bought it on ebay for a whooping $6. Will see if the dimensions are right and it fits.

Saw Nadal qualified for the second round of the US open, cool.

Nice and pleasant outside, temperature in the 70's, less humid than yesterday.

It's pretty much over , going to bed soon. We hit a few more open houses today, some of them were nice. Super pleasant and nice out. It was hot and humid during the day. Spain could not beat the USA team in the olympics basketball final, but very good game.

I tinkered with OSX on my DELL D420 some more yesterday, managed to get it to boot up using Kalyway. I got the sound drivers to work after a while, and the right video drivers installed for the GMA950 chipset, which means I got the 1280x800 resolution to work. So far so good. Next project is getting the wireless drivers to work. The machine came with an Intel 3945 integrated abg chipset, which doesn't seem to be able to be recognized by OSX. I will try an old Netgear USB stick I have somewhere and see if that works. I also have to get the power management piece to work (at least get a batter meter of some sort to work), made various attempts yesterday not succesful.

I got this interesting note from newegg.com, where I've bought a bunch of stuff over time. Interesting that they retracted and stopped collecting taxes for NY state. All merchants should do the same and refuse. Good job newegg.

Wow, major plane accident in Barajas International Airport, Madrid. Over 150 people dead, worst accident in Spain over the past 20 years. Awful. Watching the Olympics, 20 Km walk race.
