Today was my dad's birthday, yay! Felicidades papa!!!

I am almost done with Season 2 of Breaking Bad, quite good so far. Only 2 more episodes, and I already have season 3 queued up.

Having been outside yet, but looks nice out today, the temperature has dropped about 10 degrees but it's clear and sunny. We will be headed to Laia's swim class in about an hour, she is napping right now.

The new SSD I installed on the Macbook Pro seems to work very well, no problems and 256 Gb now vs. 128 Gb on the old one. Very fast, and plenty of room for a Parallels VM.

Did some manual labor yesterday evening: put down tiles on 2 of our closets, and grouted them. Looks OK so far. My hands hurt a little from all the cutting, but nothing compared to the work for our bedroom closets.

Relaxing at home after a short week. We watched an episode of Scandal.

I watched Man of Steel earlier this week, it wasn't that good.

And the weekend comes to an end, unfortunately. It's been nice having 3 days. Today we got up early, headed to Ikea, did some shopping, then met up with Nicole's dad and stepmom for lunch at Longhorn. We got home in the late evening. The weather is still very nice for this time of the year, hope it stays this way as long as possible.

Yesterday it was the season premiere of The Walking Dead (season 4), I avidly awaited and watched the first episode

Today was my birthday! Spent it home with Nicole and Laia, we went to Laia's swim class in the afternoon and then took a walk in the evening. Now that she is asleep, Nicole and I watched The Internship, pretty funny. I will watch pretty much anything with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.
