saturday

ah, the weekend. stayed in bed till about 10 this morning. ran a few errands, picked up some McD's (my guilty sin once every few weeks ) and now watching the game. i caught kentucky's game last night and watched them beat ohio state, which i think was deserved. no spanish la liga this weekend, the national teams played mid week.

just renewed my hosting for 2 years, a bit pricey but too much work to move around my 20+ domains (which they obviously count on). i also snatched balcells.me while i was at it, it was available.

been using more and more dropbox these past few months, cool service, quite useful.

martin gardner

i saw pep commented on a friend's photo in facebook where the friend was with the late Martin Gardner, cool.

reading about a potential portugal bailout, uff. would cost 80 billion euros. hope portugal tightens their budget and makes things a bit easier on themselves, otherwise not sure the EU will bail them. the EU fund has about 200 billion in it, so should be fine.

the launch of duke nukem forever delayed again, till june, haha.

movie, thu night

I watched The Company Men last night, pretty good. in my daily weather report temperatures continue to be cold, in the 30s today, and expected to continue to be cold tomorrow, booh.

reading the news now. let's see in the NYTimes can make it as a pay site. although sounds like they will allow about 20 free articles per month. that may be enough, not sure I read more than 4-6 articles per week.

tue

kind of cold today again, and it's supposed to be much worse tomorrow, we will be getting snow on our way to work, booh.

reading the news, eating dinner. i see linkedin has reached 100mm users, impressive. also, the RIM playbook is out for pre-order at ipad-like prices. we'll see if it's of any relevance.

monday

yesterday we had brunch at Minetta Tavern on the West Village with Nicole's dad and Margaret. It was super nice, great food. we walked back, stopped by Washington Square Park and got home in the late afternoon. the weather was not great, sunny but still cold. at least it was warmer than saturday, which was in the 30s.

today was also chilly, in fact it snowed for quite a while in the afternoon. yes, i said it snowed. the first day of spring. not nice.

got home late tonight, just finish up a late dinner now, will head to bed soon.
