Summer outing in Mahopac this weekend, should be fun. And we have games night tomorrow at work, people play poker, etc.

Heard from Bill, he is in Disney World in Orlando. Talked to my good friends Karsten and Yvonne last night, all good on their end. I hear late today that David G. was coming into town, but it was too late to meet up. He saw Roland, it would have definitely been fun to catch up.

More summer rain! Been raining for a couple days now, and I think it may continue all week. This weekend is our company outing, at Camp Kiwi, fun. Talked to Nate on the phone this evening, he is getting his tickets for the second week of August finally. Heard from Pep this morning, he was on his way to the airport, he will in Australia for 5 weeks (!)

Nicole sent me this article, looks like we are getting a Nordstrom Rack store and a Best Buy right around the corner, cool

The weekend is coming to an end. Just talk a walk with Bogie, it's 72 F with a light breeze out, perfect weather. Streets are super quiet as the city prepares for another busy work week. Nicole is reading her Kindle, and I am reading the paper, and experimenting with my Xbox's media center. Kind of cool having the ability to play content from any Pc in your house, including movies and music.

Sounds like Bill had a packed day with his guests, and is now getting ready for a 3 week long trip to Florida, very nice. Heard from Nate yesterday, he will likely be in NY in 3 weeks.

I did some reading about MS and Google this weekend. The lady in the government in charge of antitrust investigations does not like Google, which may mean trouble ahead for them. Somewhere along the last 3 years their "don't be evil" motto has become a little less believable. Their standard answer of "trust us, we will be fair" is less satisfying these days when trust in short supply from all parties.

Headed out to dinner at Crispo, super nice night, breeze and mild.
