Tue evening - back from Spain
We are back home! Spent Memorial Day weekend plus one extra day in Spain, doing some wedding planning. We didn't have a whole lot of time but at least we got to see my brother, Alicia and Bet, and spend time with my parents. We visited Montserrat and talked to the people in charge there, as well as the reception place. A few details to work out, but so far so good.
The Continental flights weren't the greatest. On the positive side, the flights aren't much longer than out of JFK, barely a few minutes. The other good thing is that the onboard entertainment is all on-demand with LCDs on the seat rests, and they had a few decent movies. That makes time fly. On the negative side, seats arrangements are awful. Their computer system isn't as polished as Delta's for example, so they scatter people who book together all over the plane. We were split both times, but managed to re-arrange on the way back at least. We talked to 3 other couples who were all split, pretty bad. The other negative side is the traffic back to the city through the tunnel, very slow.
We are pretty tired, I imagine we will go to bed soon.
