And Germany wins the Women's World Cup in China, very good game. In Formula 1, Alonso abandoned in today's race after several crashes under the rain. That means Hamilton will pretty much win the title. Gonna call Pep to see if we are going to go to this digital technology expo at Javitz Center, we'll see. Been up since 8, getting hungry, need to get something to eat. Fresh Direct won't be here till later this afternoon.
In other sports news, quite a few college football upsets today. Also, Hamilton won the pole for today's race, but Alonso is right behind him, should be interesting. Today is also the final of the women's FIFA world cup, between Germany and Brazil. Should be a very good game. It's a 7 am, will try and get up but I am not quite sure I will mange to 
. Barca played yesterday, and won easily. Henry scored 3 goals, and Messi did great as usual. Looking good for this season.
Got up late today, slept in. Was out at The Room on Sullivan St. (cool place), then Gaslight last night. Have to do a few errands around the apartment. Also need to place a Fresh Direct order. Saw that the new Apple software update apparently breaks the hacked iPhones. Saul Hansell, of the NYTimes, had a pretty funny headline for it:

Headed out now. Dinner at Ametller Cafe, West Village. Maybe drinks later. Got a txt from Carissa last night. txt'd w/ Jose today, he believes he and a colleague have resolved a mathematical problem that had been open for 40 years, let's see. That would be quite a break-through.
Had dinner with Pep at Todai, great. Then we headed to Starbucks, and after that to Playwright for a couple drinks. They had karaoke tonight, some great songs. He just headed back home. Not going to stay up too late, still kind of jet lagged. Day at work was good. Hanging out w/ Michelle tomorrow evening.
