Going to bed soon, have 6 meetings tomorrow, starting at 8 am, ick. Kind of warm, but not too bad. Been txting in Spanish with Jen 
. Watched a CSI Miami re-run. Parents are tired as well, we are all going to bed.

Kind of a bad weekend for various sites. I noticed not only MySpace went down, but Delta had tons of problems and reverted to a static page for long periods this weekend. FreshDirect was experiencing similar difficulties and performing extremely slowly Friday and Saturday. I wonder whether it was all a coincidence or not. Strange.

Interesting, it's been down for quite a few hours, a least 6 hours. No so easy to bring a system back up when it goes down. They probably were ill prepared, clearly did not have a disaster recovery plan, or not a very effective one. Attached is the image on their homepage, including spelling errors

Stopped by Gaslight and Lotus for a few last night, it was extremely crowded. It was a warm summer night, everybody was out. In summer the Meatpack are is even busier than usual.
Fri night
Dinner at home and took a walk with the rents, went to Times Square and stuff. Got back soon, they are still jet lagged and went to bed. I may go out for a bit, get a drink. It's been raining all day.
