It's the end of the school year, and the awards seem to keep rolling in for our girls. We are so proud of them!

- Sofia was awarded an Honorary Mention on the Brookhaven National Labs 2025 Science Fair contest, making her second prize for 5th grade students in all of Suffolk County
- Laia was awarded an Arnold Award from Sachem Swim Club for her effort preparing to swim the 200 meters Butterfly
- Laia was awarded an International Baccalaureate (IB) Principled Trait award at her school in Center Moriches, meaning she does the right thing whether someone is looking or not

The last couple of evenings I have experimenting with how well ChatGPT helps write code.

I set a simple goal of creating a basic opt-in newsletter that crawls the web, finds soccer games you may want to watch and emails you every day the schedule. Covers mostly European top flight soccer games for. Took some iteration, but it's working. Interesting how easy it is to get stuck on "infinite loops" with ChatGPT where it gets to 90% of the task but then can't figure out the last mile without your help:

I continue to play with ChatGPT to generate cartoon-style pictures of our family! It's fun.

Congrats to Sofia for being invited to perform in the SCMEA Division I Chorus this weekend, singing along the top NISMA (NY State School Music Association) singers from all of Suffolk County from 5th and 6th grade! Hard work pays off!
