Wed/Thu

In Cinci, Wed, Thu, Fri. Millennium downtown. Intense days at work. Pete from NY is with me, a good guy. He is getting to know the Cinci office and some of the business. Took a few people to Skyline for lunch yesterday, and Pete was introduced to this Cinci tradition

Had dinner with friends at Palominos. Our waiter was a little weird, and fake, but it was fine and fun. I went to bed after that, hadn't slept for like 48 hours.

Having dinner with a friend tonight, probly Longhorn

Allergies

Geez, my eyes are so incredibly itchy, I keep rubbing them continuously, and they only get more red and burning.

Wed

I have to catch a flight to Cinci shortly, I guess I may just stay up. Kind of a long day, ostensibly

Had dinner with a client and Jen S. from work at Koi Polloi, located in the Bryant Park Hotel. This is Manhattan’s new hotspot. Known for it’s famous crispy rice (to die for), and sushi. The rest of the food is definitely of the same caliber. From Citysearch's editorial profile:

"The Scene
A giant white fishnet lines the walls and ceiling, tethering in fashionable socialites to this dark, sexy pond. Comfy beige banquettes, bamboo plants, and mod chandeliers accentuate a stylish spot so favored by the voguerati that you can forget about booking a table during Fashion Week."

ESPN Soccernet

"...

A couple of nights later Sevilla made it to the UEFA Cup final, which they'll play in Eindhoven against Middlesbrough. The trouble with this is that no Spanish commentator knows how to pronounce 'Middlesbrough' - the word tending to come out as 'Meedles-burrow'. You shouldn't laugh though.

It took the BBC a full ten years to pronounce the golfer 'Ballesteros' correctly, and just when they finally managed it...along came Olazabal to renew the phonetic torture.
