woke up late today, feels great. playing some music, my collection has ballooned to 86,269 songs .

i was browsing around and came across some collectible items sites. didn't realize the magic the gathering cards have increased in value so significantly. dual lands are very pricey now! i remember buying them for about $5 a few years ago. looks like they go for 10x that much or more now. also, an unlimited full set is like $7k, wow. will have to dig out my box one of these days

the weekend is here. in need of some rest. just ate some dinner, watching The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans on the big screen. pretty dark movie, cage plays a tormented cop. not bad. mild out, very nice. desktop been stable at 3.3GHz for a few weeks know, i bet it can go 3.6. Core temp is around 50 F.

a few errands to do tomorrow, and also have to do a bunch of bills. may try to catch a movie at the theater.

been trading emails with jesus and jordi about upcoming trip to el bulli, should be cool.

with no postings, no time. my parents left today after staying with us for a few weeks, we had a great time. now they are off to spain.

update: while i was at work today got news from my brother: Carolina is born! it's his and alicia's second daughter, so now i am twice uncle , congratulations!!!

new week started. kind of a long day, didn't get home till recently. reading the paper now, will have to head to bed soon.
