Mon

Typical Monday. Home late. Going to go to bed soon. Very cold out, and it's scheduled to be in the 30s tomorrow morning. Heat on full blast. Just had late dinner and watched some TV, including older episodes of One Tree Hill - not so much into the show anymore. I think it's the final season anyway.

Sun evening

One more weekend almost gone. Thumbs up for Cru last night, excellent service and food, we really liked it. It is down the street, on 9th and 5th ave.

Spent a bit of time this evening reconfiguring the server. Now that it has a copy of the mp3 database locally, it doesn't need to go fetch the songs across the wireless network off my desktop. Much better and faster. I took a look at pricing of faster bandwidth TW packages. They finally have a couple options. You can get 15Mbs down/768Kbps up for $15 more a month, and 20Mbps down and 1 Mbps up for $25 more a month. I will consider, but seems kind of pricey.

Getting ready for dinner and consider movie options on my home theatre. The new setup across the room projects an image that is 12 feet across. It is huge

Oh, in case you hadn't noticed, see the new twitter widget on the right hand side. I can txt from my cell and messages show up on the feed in real time. Kind of clever, fun.

Twitter account

Started using the twitter account I opened a couple of weeks ago. Pep told me about twitter like a year ago, before anybody knew about it. We discussed using it to stay in touch on the cheap (sms to email updates), but in the end we didn't. Anywayz, let's see how much I use it. The service is remarkably easy to setup and configure. Nice.

St Patrick's

Another pic I took last week about out St Patrick's celebration at work. Notice Hans in the impressive green hat , he was one of the flip cup team captains.

BTW, unrelated, annoyingly, blog spammers have been at it again, posting random comments on my blog. I may have to implement some form of validation. It comes and goes. It's silly because their links don't even appear, I have them blocked so they become plain text.

Man, IE 8 is really quite a bit faster than 7 was.

Desktop at work

A quck shot of my cool setup at work, with the dual 21" Dell monitors next to the 30" Apple Cinema display, pretty awesome
