Que sera, sera

Listening to music before heading out to lunch. Playing a classic, Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be), performed by Doris Day, and originally written for The Man Who Knew Too Much, one of my all time favorite movies.

Here is the song, if you want to download it.

Last night, Thu

Last night I went out to dinner with Hans. We went to Fig and Olive at the Meatpacking. Wonderful experience, as usual. Very fresh food and ingredients. I had a bass special that was awesome. He headed out to Gaslight afterwards, had a drink or two. It was unusually crowded. In fact, the entire neighborhood was hopping. Stopped by Playwright on the way back, they have karaoke on Thursdays. Didn't go to bed until 3 or so, since I knew we were off today.

New Coke

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that Coke has released a new type of drink, it's Diet Coke Plus. The different label on Coke's familiar bottle caught my eye. It's supposed to be diet plus vitamins and minerals. Smart, trying to ride the success of Vitamin Water. Let's see, I am not sure it will work out, though.

Fri

Friday, the weekend is here. And top of it being a 3-day weekend because of Labor Day Monday, my company gave us the day off today as well! So I am at home, chillin. Getting ready to head out to get something to eat. I might meet Roland, he said something about getting together for lunch today, let's see.

Got an email from my good friend Jesus, who is back in Spain. They had a second kid recently, and everything is going quite well. I spent a bit of time emailing him back this morning, going over the events of this summer. Here is a great picture of his newborn son and cute daughter:

Wed night

Dinner at Felix French Bistro in SoHo with a friend, great food as usual. Then we headed to the West Village, so incredibly crowded, you can tell the students are back. Played foosball, crushed all oponents. Won a few beers in the process . Stopped by an irish pub near home on the way back. So nice out, very pleasant weather.
