Watched The Aviator tonight. It was OK, but not great. I didn't particularly care for Cate Blanchett's portrayal of Katharine Hepburn. I did somewhat enjoy Kate Beckinsale as Ava Gardner, though. Neither of them come close to the real thing. My personal favorite was always Lauren Bacall, depicted here on a screen cap from Key Largo.
I just replenished my supplies of food from Spain (olives, cheese, ham, etc.)
I usually get my stuff from Tienda.com, although in NY you can find a lot of it in specialty delis, Whole Foods, and such (they are just quite a bit more expensive)
Getting ready to meet some friends for dinner in a few.
I went out to get chips and some soda, and what do you know, it's now 66 F, very nice.
Watched Elektra, pretty bad.
Went out for a bit last night. Tons of Halloween parties. Didn't dress up. Clocks were set 1 hour back last night, as usual by this time of the year. Need to get something to eat, may watch a movie or something.
It's Saturday! Ready for my standard lunch ritual, I always go to Outback (a poor man's Longhorn, but there is no Longhorn in NYC unfortunately.) I will be on my way in a bit.
Had to stay at work late yesterday, helping some people. I was too tired too go out when I made it home. Picked up some food on the way. Actually, some (very bad) paella

I heard from a good friend, Todd, he is doing very well.
Anyway, more cool weather, but that's to be expected.
