Messi

Following up on my earlier football post, below is an extract of a good article on ESPN about Messi. Click on the pics to go to the article.

"...
And as final proof of the pudding of greatness, the Levante supporters rose to applaud him as was taken off by Rijkaard, presumably to save his legs for the Champions League this week. That doesn't often happen in La Liga. So by the way, Messi is the best in the world."

Elisabet

My mom, btw, it was her Sait day today, sent me a few pics of the recent trip while I was holding Elisabet. Here is one of them:

Sunday - dinner

Getting ready to have dinner now, fixin' something. Replaced a light bulb in my living room earlier. I have the A/C on (!) Heard from Hans, he was having dinner at Artisanal, which, as I mentioned the other day, has excellent fondues and a very wide selection of cheeses.

I may head out a bit later, we'll see.

Sunday - lunch

After the game we headed to Union Square and have brunch at a terrace. The weather is so incredibly nice, totally felt like summer. After that, I headed home, I had to take care of some errands. The Polish National Day parade went up 5th ave, I took a couple pics that I will post later when I have a moment. It was quite nice.

Sunday - football game

Got up early to go watch the Barca game with Pep and Jaume today, very cool. Nevada Smiths was incredibly packed, we could barely move. Several English Premiereship games were also taking place, including Chelsea (very annoying, loud fans) and Liverpool. The game went very well for Barcelona, easily won 3-0 against Atletico de Madrid, a team that had posed difficulties in previous matchups. Henry, Deco, Ronaldinho, Giovanni, and Messi, as usual, played well.
