Monday night

Got home a few min ago. Rainy today, but not too cold, which is good. Been reading details about the botnet attack on Estonia last year, very interesting. Points out how vulnerable the whole Internet is. Not super hungry, I will wait a bit before I have dinner. Added a couple more entries to my hosts file:

127.0.0.1 www.fubar.com
127.0.0.1 eas.apm.emediate.eu

Made a few purchases a JCrew, had this cool 20% off coupon I took advantage of .

Types of cones

Judit and Bobby just got back from San Diego, they are all tanned. She sent me this picture with 3 possible types of cones. This is way funny because we always get confused with what type of cone we want to order when we go to this ice cream shop in Cambridge. This should help clarify . I like the wafer best.

Brooklyn

Went to a wedding in Brooklyn this evening, it was a good friend on Nicole's, Agelina. Big Italian wedding with a big reception. Tons of people, like 250+. It was fine. We left around 11 or so, and it was still going. A car service took us back into the city very quickly.

Chilly out, like close to 32 F (0 C).

Read this interesting article a couple of weeks back about wrecked boats and teams that specialize in saving the cargos. These teams assemble an eclectic mix of invididuals, from divers and naval engineers, to salvage masters. When they are in international waters, they use this thing called "Lloyd's open form" to agree on the salvage terms. The agreement is a "no cure - no pay" contract. All very interesting. The guys are pretty crazy, it's an extremely dangerous job.
