We were supposed to have another guy come take a look at the kitchen to give us a quote this morning, but he got lost (he thought it was in Brooklyn and not Manhattan). I talked to him around 8:30 am and we arranged for him to come in tomorrow at the same time.

In the morning we went to Time Warner to change our cable service. Nicole canceled her account and then I moved mine. No easy process. The old tenants in my place had 3 boxes checked out, unpaid, and a balance. We had to make a copy of our deed and proprietary lease to show TW that owned the place, crazy. Finally they agreed to switch the service, but it took over an hour because they had to move it from one bulk rate building to another, and the software apparently doesn't make it easy (plus training probably isn't great for the CSRs). They also had to schedule for a technician to come switch phone service, which won't happen for another 2 weeks (in the meantime my phone at home will not work.) Quite an odyssey.

Had some soup for lunch, then headed back home, Boggie had to get groomed today. After that we went to Home Depot to pick up a few things, looked at refrigerators again. We like 2 French Door models, a Fisher Paykel and a Jenn-Air. We'll see, it may come down to which is in stock and can be delivered easier.

Then we took a trip to my place, unplugged a ton of electronics and packed it all up. On the way out Nicole ran to the curve to get a cab, but she tripped on a pothole and sprained her ankle . She is all bruised and swollen. Let's see if it goes down by tomorrow.
