Another test

Just to make sure...

Michelle Trachtenberg

Testing

This is a test entry, testing out new hosting provider. They have a different upload component, so I had to tweak my code to get it to work with this component.

Sharapova

Seems fine now.

RR and LAN

BTW, I had to slightly redo my LAN to work with RR. The cable modem issues 1 and only 1 IP, which is weird. So, I had to put another router in between and DHCP the rest of the devices (Computers, IP printer, SAN, etc.) All is good now. If you check Time Warner's documentation they tell you to pay $5 for every extra IP, yeah, right.

Misc complaints

1) The Blackberry interface has at least 1 annoying flaw: when you scroll through the list of messages, for calls and sent messages, you can send another SMS with just one click. You have to actually open up the sent message or the call, and then, from that screen you can do it. I know it probably sounds like nothing, but it is actually quite inconvenient usability wise. Forces you to spend extra time, could and should be fixed.

2) What's with phone handset manufacturers, and device manufacturers in general, having these big warnings on their products about charging them for 24 hours before using them? That's silly. We get it that they won't last as long as if fully charged, but there is no way anybody is going to wait a full 24 hours to play with a new toy or use a new device.
