Osushi

Bobby took us to this wonderful sushi place in downtown Boston for dinner on Saturday, Osushi. Great, fresh food. Below is a quick review:

Located as it is in Copley Place, Osushi certainly doesn't want for lack of business. Of course, the convenience factor only partially explains this place's appeal. Hip and very sexy, the black and red minimalist space draws a cool mix of business types, international travelers and Back Bay hipsters. Sushi and sashimi are masterfully prepared using only the freshest available ingredients, and each dish is evocatively presented. The sake selection, unsurprisingly, draws vast approval from those who fancy themselves rice wine connoisseurs, and more adventurous palates should consider taking the plunge in one of the bar signature saketinis.

OSushi Restaurant, Boston

We went to a couple bars from there, and then to Katia's sister place. Great night.

Other

Misc stuff: Roger Federer won his 10th grand slam title when he defeated Fernando Gonzalez in the final of the Australian Open yesterday, he is amazing. Should be able to easily beat Sampras all time record. Barca won, Madrid lost. Talked to Bill for a bit on his way home from Fostoria.

Back

Back from all the travels. Spend a quick day in Cinci last week, then visited friends Bobby and Judit in Boston. Flew back this evening, finally made it home. Hectic week. Going to bed soon.
